WEEKEND BREAKFAST

Vegan pancakes with friends
How?
  • 1 1/4 cup of all purpose flour 
  • 2 teaspoons of baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon of salt 
  • 1 teaspoon of ground cinnamon (optional)
  • 2 tablespoons of canola oil 
  • 1/3 cup of water 
  • 1 to 1 1/4 cup of rice or soy milk 
  • 2 tablespoon of pure maple syrup 
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract 

Combine all dry ingredients
add all wet ingredients
mix until combined (a few lumps are fine - don't over mix the batter)

Cook for 3 minutes on one side and 1 minute on the other

Makes 8 x 4-5 inch pancakes
