VEGAN DOG'S BARK


for a healthy treat for your fur friend try this vegan dog bark - using fruit and vegetable pulp you can create tasty, crispy snacks in no time!

how? 

1/2 cup of plain flour
1 tablespoon of vegetable or canola oil
2 tablespoons of sunflower seeds
2 cups of fruit and vegetable pulp from your juicer

combine all ingredients in a large bowl and mix well. transfer the mix to a lined baking tray and spread out thinly. place into a preheated oven at 150ÂșC for 1 hour. flip to bark and return to the oven for a further 30 mins. turn off the oven, leaving your vegan dog bark to cool and crisp up. once cool you can break into small pieces and serve to your fur friend (storing the leftovers in an airtight container for later). 

PROTEIN-PACKED VEGAN DOG SNACKS



how?

2 cups of chickpea flour
1 cup of plain flour
2 tablespoons of dried parsley
1 tablespoon of nutritional yeast flakes
1 cup of warm water

combine the dry ingredients in a large mixing bowl. slowly add the water. turn the dough out onto a sheet of baking paper and roll out to a thickness of about 1-2cm. cut into desired shape with a cookie cutter, place onto a baking sheet, and bake in a 180°C (350°F) oven for 15 minutes.

turn off the oven, leaving the dog treats in the oven for 6-8 hours until they cool and crunchy. serve to your fur family for their enjoyment.

depending on the size of your cookie cutter, this recipe makes about 3 cups of small biscuits.
